Renting a wheelchair may be possible. They listened to our concerns and accommodated our wishes. We were comfortable and satisfied with this travel agency.

At the ryokan Mori No Kaze Hakone Sengokuhara, the room number was 304.

The ryokan was a little over $785 for the single night in a private Onsen room. It included the kaiseiki dinner and Japanese breakfast. TokudAw found and booked the ryokan for us. It was excellent.

We stayed at an ryokan hotel with a private onsen in Hakone. My husband’s power wheelchair had no issues rolling into the room, elevator, or onsite restaurant. We requested the “Western-style” room to sleep on mattresses instead of floor futons. The room had a private onsen on outdoor balcony surrounded by bushes and small trees.
