I went to an outdoor Christmas market locally in Boston! Technically accessible but conditions of the ground were pretty bad, so I was happy to stay standing by the end lol… I am always tempted when I see holiday markets in Europe, but when I go outside in the cold I am always reminded that a big cold weather trip would not be a good idea for me!!!

Yes at most stations in cities the staff are at the entrance (in some rare occasions you can reach them via an intercom).
You WILL need a staff to help you with the ramp to get on the Shinkansen. There are definitely staff at all Shinkansen entrances. They usually take you to the platform 10min before the train, so you want to likely…
