Did you know that Romania’s Palace of the Parliament in Bucharest holds the Guinness World Record for being the heaviest building on the planet? Weighing in at approximately 4.1 million tons, this colossal structure is so heavy that it’s said to sink a few millimeters each year!​
We visit the Palace of the Parliament as part of our tours that include Bucharest. Large areas of the Palace are wheelchair accessible, with a separate level-access entrance and lifts to be used within the building.
