My husband, who uses an electric wheelchair, and I are travelling to Japan this month. What is the best way to get from Narita airport to Nihonbashi in Tokyo. He has several meetings over the week and I need to find an accessible taxi or mode of transportation to get him back an forth on time. Any suggestions? Thank you.
2 CommentsWow, what an ambitious trip! I’ve been to Japan but that was a long time ago when I was still walking. I remember the flight itself being extremely long and exhausting. If you can swing it, I strongly suggest upgrading to business/1st class where you can lie down in comfort. I flew recently to Florida from Montreal and I was miserable in my coach seat and it was under 4 hours!) Re accessible transfers, have you checked Facebook? (type accessible Japan in the search). Have a good trip… Let us know how it goes!
1Hi! You might want to try the Japan group as well 👍
Taxis are available but the public transportation system is also fast, reliable and cheap.
