MemberWays to clean wheelchair tires
I was in a conversation with a historic site operator today and they have people take off their shoes to keep down tracking in dirt etc. Obviously you can’t easily change wheelchair tires at the door so they plan on wiping them down. But just a cloth doesn’t get in all the groves well. Does anyone have any suggestions for brushes or mats that could help?
TakHas anyone been to Casa Loma in a power wheelchair?
I’m heading home to see family and want to take my care attendant to see some tourist sites. Casa Loma came up as a suggestion. I went ages ago as a school kid but can’t remember if everything was accessible or not… I have a vague recollection of taking a separate route than my class…
I would strongly recommend getting in touch with and going to Togakushi in Nagano as the people at the “Universal Tourism Desk” have done a lot of work into importing outdoor use wheelchairs for enjoying nature.
If you are into scuba…
Weeeeeekeeeeeeeend!
What are your plans?
I’m off to Atami to check out some accessibility!

It is rainy here too. I was able to go visit and pet my favorite horses (they live across the street from me) they love the carrots we bring them. It’s local travel 🙂
