Also, when picking a time I recommend trying to be at SkyTree at least an hour before sunset, the city view is awesome and almost has a different personality in day and night (see attached, though it’s way better in person).

If you’re worried about moving quickly or getting lost at a train station, renting a motorized wheelchair could be a solution for you. Tabifolk’s sibling site, Accessible Japan, can suggest some companies. However, most have stopped renting scooters (specifically) since they cannot be used at every station.
