Wow, these are such great initiatives from the South Moravian Tourism Centre! I really hope this spreads across the whole Czech Republic, and it would be amazing if other countries followed their example as well. 😍
It seems like Brno is not the only city in the Czech Republic that is wheelchair accessible. Prague is moderately accessible to wheelchair users. https://wheelchairtravel.org/prague/attractions/ Getting around is relatively easy on the partially accessible public transportation system.

If it is not a hassle for you to carry with you, then I would highly recommend it especially if you plan on going to restaurants/shops. Many have just one step and a ramp could really open up opportunities to enjoy your trip.
It could be helpful at some tourist attractions, but not likely as much.
