I went to an outdoor Christmas market locally in Boston! Technically accessible but conditions of the ground were pretty bad, so I was happy to stay standing by the end lol… I am always tempted when I see holiday markets in Europe, but when I go outside in the cold I am always reminded that a big cold weather trip would not be a good idea for me!!!

I think most can to a degree, but you may want to prepare a translator app on your phone. Most let you download the language pairs onto your phone so you don’t need to worry about data when out and about
