MemberWe used Wilgo transport . Jun is such a nice guy. He has a wheelchair accessible vehicle that has a ramp that the person can just wheel straight on the vehicle and room for suitcases as well . As with Japan it’s expensive for private hire but worth the extra cost just to have total peace of mind. After all it’s a holiday so enjoy.

Happy to say we have been successful in purchasing tickets for the horse racing so will update our experience after the races on Sunday . The whole experience looks totally disabled friendly.
I understand you can hire portable Wi-Fi boxes on arrival in Japan. Are they worth having ? I have free Wi-Fi in my hotel and on my cruise so it’s really being out and about for maps and translations where I would need this facility. Is Wi-Fi readily available in parks ,shops,transport and restaurants ? I’m thinking it would be not needed but…
