Thank you so much for your reply Josh. Good news is Permobil tech support got back to us and we were able to recalibrate the chair with their direction.

@Josh: my permobil is dead and I need a repair company. Staying in Ginza. I called permobil tokyo and they cannot come by until Friday.

Any other repair shops you know of?

My flight is tomorrow but seems like I’ll need to stay longer.

I’m flying to Tokyo soon and found The B Ginza has reasonably priced rooms. I will have my Permobil M3 powerchair and while the hotel staff mentioned the chair will fit in their standard “single room,” (145 sq ft) they recommended getting the slightly larger room which is 178 sq ft.
