Lynda Holt – Paralympian, Accessible Travel Specialist & Entrepreneur

I’m Lynda Holt, a Paralympian, entrepreneur, and passionate advocate for accessible travel. I’ve been a wheelchair user all my life, and I know firsthand both the challenges and the incredible possibilities of travelling the world with a disability.

I competed in Shot Put and Discus at the Sydney 2000 Paralympics, winning a silver medal, but my journey didn’t stop there. I founded Wheelie Essential, a business providing assistive technology to help people with disabilities live more independently. Now, I’ve combined my love of travel with my expertise to become a specialist accessible travel advisor, helping others experience the world with confidence.

From flights and cruises to accommodation and unique experiences, I use my lived experience to ensure my clients have smooth, stress-free journeys. My latest adventure took me to Norway, a country that impressed me with its outstanding accessibility—proof that the right destination and planning can make all the difference.
