Why Aren’t UNESCO World Heritage Sites More Accessible?
UNESCO World Heritage sites are some of the most popular destinations for travelers. Yet many are inaccessible to disabled travelers, and any alterations to the sites are often resisted.
This is a tricky one… unfortunately I think the bigger problem they are facing now is how to keep the number of visitors under control so I am not sure how much accessibility will get attention.
