MemberThank you justin for the information you gave. You know better than me.
I just want to tell that it is Easier Than in France to travel with a wheelchair in trains/metro in japan and we didn’t have problems Over there.
Enjoy your trip!
Hello
No problem in hotel Where we gone.
The only one problem was:
Sometimes the side of thé room was very small and it was difficult to have the Wheelchair in the room and to go to the bathroom ( hotel apa in Osaka ).
Hello
We travelled last august .
We took a jr pass from France ( it has to be booked outside of Japan. )
We didn’t have to reserve seats because there are seats Where you can go without réservation .
And, if you want you can book seats At the stations .
is a portable ramp useful in Tokyo ?
Hello, it is not useful for travelling on metro or train or bus because they have one portable ramp.
We did’nt have one during our travel. But sometimes, on restaurants or shops, there was one step.
