MemberHi… I’m nervously putting this out there but pretty soon I will be launching a new (fairly basic) website dedicated to all things accessibility related in Brazil. It’s a venture that my wife and I will undertake together and is something we’re both really looking forward to starting. It’s likely that we’ll start small, sticking fairly local…
Josh Grisdale and Lar1 CommentSoooooo excited for it!!
I feel your pain with those high stoops! As @joshgrisdale said, even just a single step can be impossible to get over. It really limits where we can and can’t go. Maybe more places could have portable ramps available at least on request. Hope you find some workarounds but totally understandable how frustrating it is!

@joshgrisdale @schroth-sensei thank you!
I will bring something like a portable shower chair as you shared. That should be very useful for traveling. I wouldn’t have to worry if I’m changing hotels too.
@joshgrisdale Hi Josh,
My name is Joyce. I also have CP and live in CA. Thinking to travel to Japan one day, so gathering information.
Is the info you posted here the only info you have for power wheelchair accessible transport in Japan?
Thanks,
Joyce
