Hello Josh, I did contact Oakhouse and the only wheelchair accessible accomodation in Tokyo that they have is 1h 8min from Chuo University with 2 changes of trains, they said it is most likely a not feasible daily commute…
I don’t really know what to do, I’m waiting for other mails reply but even Chuo university told me they’re unable to host…

As Josh wrote, July is unfortunately not cherry blossom season in Japan.
As for sumo, it will be held in Nagoya from July 14th to July 28th. You can see “sumo-like shows” at some restaurants, but they are not real sumo.

Just today I visited the refurbished Pikes Peak Cod Railway, in Colorado, USA. I should preface this by noting that I am partially ambulatory and use a cane and a manual wheelchair.
I have to say I was pleasantly impressed by the accessibility of this attraction. The train station, gift shop and bathrooms both at the base and at the summit…
