          • Which shinkansen is this? Do you need to book a specific one?

            • @Kiah it is one of the Nozomi trains running from Tokyo to Kyoto/Osaka/… they are slowly phasing them in. If it is available on the train you are going on it will be where they put you anyway. You can choose one with companion seat or not.

            • Looks like Wheelchair Travellers bound for Japan will be brighter & promising !

              Like here in Canada… GO train had always one car designated for wheelchair commuters with spacious washroom/toilet
