I think it certainly did in Tokyo. But unlike Paris, most of the transportation changes were permanent ones to train stations etc,

Actually just waiting to leave Paris as I type this. Paris, while a beautiful host city, did not rise to the challenge of accessibility in either transportation or venues. Could give multiple examples, but had a great time anyway. Mostly smooth sidewalks, so that was a bonus.

I’ve only had good experiences with AMTRAK. The longest trip I’ve taken has been roundtrip between Los Angeles and San Diego. I’ve never used their sleeper cars. Their website allows you to have your accessibility needs on file if you have sign up for their frequent rider program so you never have to repeatedly input them. They offer a…

I have seen their ADA sleeper car and it really is spacious. I am glad to see they are making the shorter routes more accessible too.

Hello @bamagirl – first the “unofficial” answer: if you have a visibile disability, i.e. you arrive at the museum on a wheelchair, they usually will not even ask for proof – it is a question of practical sense, they see a person with a disability, it is clear, no need for proof and they won’t hassle you with documents.
