MemberAnyone use Word Lens or other smart phone translators?
I’m probably going to bring my iPhone with me to Japan for my extended stay. I want to use a good camera translations app, maybe like Google Word Lens, mostly to ensure I don’t accidentally eat food from my intolerance list. Has anyone used it before? or recommend a different one? pros/cons? 🙂

Depending on what you want to do, queues could be an issue. However, if you steer clear of peak/rush hours you may not have many lines at all to deal with. I avoided these times myself and I didn’t have to wait long in any place I visited in Tokyo, Kyoto, Kobe, and a few other cities.
