Cancelled
I had lost a huge message and it said there was a bug. I haven’t been able to get back in here til today. It was in green writing so I think it was from Tabifolk.
Update – after many tears and sleepless nights I’ve decided not to go to Japan. I felt I was lynched at the meeting we had. Eight of us were going together to Japan in October. This…

I cannot walk at all, and I travel all around the world by myself. If you have to make the plans to travel by yourself, I have found the support in this group to make all the accommodations and arrangements. You don’t need other people to have…
1Thanks so much hun. I won’t be travelling with this group. Imagine how horrible they would be. I am looking for somewhere else to go. I don’t think I’d cope going away by myself. I have panic attacks. Not that they know as they are rare. I’m sure there must be groups that take disabled away on trips. Does anyone know of any? I’m in Australia. Xxx

Bamberg: I am impressed!
Over the holidays, my husband and I visited several Christmas markets in Germany. Accessibility is always a challenge in historic places but I would be remiss if I didn’t highlight a fully accessible toilet AND changing facilities at the tourist center in Bamberg. That is amazing – especially at a historic place!
1This is wonderful to see!

That is horrible! Why do we have to jump through so many hoops, and even when you follow the rules you get treated like this. It is stressful and frustrating!

Windsor Castle
My two Support Workers and I went to Windsor on Friday. None of us had been before, and we were thrilled when we entered the Castle and the man at the gate told us the King was in residence. (I, of course, said it was because we were there! 😊)
The closest we came to a royal sighting was a Policeman with a submachine gun standing outside, and…
This is so cool! You’ve definitely come a lot closer to Royalty than I ever have. How amazing would it have been if you spotted HRH and he gave you a little wave 😀
Awesome! Glad to hear the staff were nice. Were most of the areas accessible? I vaguely remember going when I was 12… many years ago!
