  • Savill Gardens

We went to the Savill Gardens to have High Tea last month. We were met and taken to our table by a wonderful Maitre’ D. We all had the wonderful High Tea, which consisted of any type of loose-leaf tea. We each had a three-tier tray of sweet items at the top, savoury next down, and Earl Grey-infused scones with clotted cream and jam on…

  • Some time good, sometimes bad

Before, I always used a manual wheelchair when traveling by plane. ✈️ Now I have something called E-fix, which is a small motor so I can also drive electrically! ♿️ It’s often very easy to board a plane (when you put the remote and battery in your luggage during the flight), but sometimes you meet very rude people. 😡 Let me tell you more about…

      • This is so cool! You’ve definitely come a lot closer to Royalty than I ever have. How amazing would it have been if you spotted HRH and he gave you a little wave 😀

        • Awesome! Glad to hear the staff were nice. Were most of the areas accessible? I vaguely remember going when I was 12… many years ago!

      • The Ivy Restaurant Windsor

We had a memorable supper at The Ivy Restaurant last month. We couldn’t believe how tall our waiter was (he’s 6’8″), an absolutely charming young man (as you’d expect from such an iconic restaurant). The restaurant is just opposite Windsor Castle, and we had the perfect table as we could see the video playing on the Tower of Windsor Castle! …
