In general, the contract length for an apartment is 2 years (sometimes 1 year), so you will likely need to look for a place on these type of “for foreigners” sites. Which of course will then mean contacting a lot of places….

Not only difficult in wheelchair but for walking …as lovely as it is to have this history under feet it meant I spent way too much time watching my feet so I didn’t fall!

I stayed in an Oakwood “residence” once and they had a shower chair at the place I was (Yokohama), so the others possibly do as well. It might be a good start – though, they are likely not budget friendly for 3 months….
