While this isn’t surprising with the DAS being scaled way back, it is still very problematic! Yes, you can rent outside of the park, but that takes planning ahead of time, and to not have wheelchairs / ECVs available for rent could definitely derail…

Should Disney be more prepared?
I want to add a small foot rest to my scooter, but I can’t see any online. I have tried asking libraries that have 3D printers, and they are like yeah we can print it if you have the file. Has anyone worked with an organization that takes requests for help making a device / gadget?

It seems like that’ll be the way for wheelchair spaces, but I hope Delta’s program raises the bar and others want to meet or exceed it! However, I hope that government policies that were put in place are enforced and pressured to finish sooner than the like 10 years the US plan gave.
I love finding unique activities to do, but a lot of times accessibility is an issue. While this activity would be an issue if you have weak core/head strength since there are no doors to lean on, the tour company has experience accommodating many disabilities and are able to strap manual wheelchairs to the back of these Scoot Coupes!
