“Your father can bring one CPAP machine set into Japan without any paperwork.
However, in order to clear the Customs, Doctor’s letter or medical report with his name as
patient indicating the need for CPAP, as an evidence of his personal use, is required.

So my dad has a cane, and a CPAP machine.
Everything I’ve read says I need to fill out a “Yakkan Shoumei or a Yunyu Kakunin-sho” (import license) for medical devices.
The Japan embassy in the US states that “You can bring one (1) medical device for household
use without applying for a Yakkan Shoumei. When you bring your personal

Most of these rules are for riding the scooter onto the train.
And although my dad tires quickly when walking, hence the scooter idea…
He would be able to get up and walk onto the train.
Would it be acceptable to simply let him walk onto the train, and then fold the scooter to store it…Need electric mobility scooter for my dad.
So the creator of the passport pro scooter said that it is compliant with airlines 100W battery Rule.
But I know that Japan has it’s own regulations for scooter.
Does anyone know what those regulations are?
