Hi folks,
I just wanted to share some of my impressions from my ongoing journey through Japan. I created a few reels and put them in a story highlight on Instagram. You can find me here: https://www.instagram.com/cbayerlein/
I’ll also attach a selection of pictures.
Japan is so awesome. We arrived on Saturday night in Tokyo and will head on to Nikko on Friday. We’ve been in the Hokusai Museum, National Museum, Shibuya, Ginza and Harajuku. Public transport is amazing and absolutely accessible. And we tried the accessible Japan taxi via the app which worked like a charm. I must say that Japan is amazingly accessible, much better than Germany.
Best,
Christian

Pao, Gaven and 3 others6 CommentsIf you are still in Tokyo visit teamLab Borderless in Azabudai Hills, access via Ningyocho station, (south exit). They have discounted tickets for disabled and carer. There’s only one room you can’t access and they are very helpful. It’s breathtaking.
@Maury thank you for the tip! Actually, we tried but it was booked out until April 24th…
Hi
Good morning.
I’m glad to hear you’re having a great experience. Oh, and I sent you my contact information in your direct message!
Best regards.
Tak
1@Josh Grisdale I really liked it. The construction of the ramp is a bit too complicated and the driver had some trouble figuring out how to deploy it. But in the end it worked well. We tried a London Taxi in Egypt in February and that was a bit easier. But hey, in Germany we have neither of those!
1@Christian Bayerlein glad it worked out. They have a bit of a storied past and many issues along the way.
Did you flag it down or use an app?
