Finding a really ‘traditional’ ryokan may be tough, depending on your definition. A quick google search brings up the following for a place to stay:Â http://www.pax-yoshino.com/

Unfortunately, I’ve also never seen a toilet with a hoist here. You may have to bring your own or rent one. Sorry :/

I actually selected my current powerchair (Permobil Corpus F3) with the expectation that I would be traveling to Tokyo sometime in the near future. Permobil has a dealership/repair shop in Morishita, so it’s fairly convenient for those living in Tokyo.
