Becoming RentABLE
MemberHello,
Does anyone know of any countries where listing accessibility information on a tourist attraction or hotel’s website is a legal requirement?

The European Accessibility Act requires businesses operating in Europe to make their products and services accessible to individuals with disabilities. This law applies to all companies except microenterprises (https://reciteme.com/news/accessibility-in-tourism/)

Hello and welcome to tabifolk
I also have CP and use a power wheelchair and have moved to Japan, so it is possible!
- Where ever you get the helpers, you will need to pay out of pocket. There is a huge lack of helpers here, so it is likely best to bring them with you. Even when I moved here I had someone from Canada with me for about 6 months…

I guess it depends on your tolerance of extra people!
My personal feeling is that it won’t be as big as they expect/say as everything is behind schedule and a lot of people here are not really interested.
I think your biggest challenge will be getting a hotel as accessible rooms are already hard to get, but still should be possible.
