MemberSo I tried getting a wc taxi at the taxi stand at Kyoto station. It was a frustrating experience…the taxi staff was not helpful. Waited at the Taxi #2 Friendly Cab area was useless as well.
What is the best way to order a wc taxi? The Taxi GO app requires a Japan # to sign up.
What is the etiquette or rule for boarding a bus in Kyoto? Wait in line? Or wait near the front so the driver board the wheelchair first?
I’m currently in Kyoto and want to visit many of the temples and touristy spots. I’ve read the articles on Accessible Japan and it recommended taking the bus at Kyoto Station to avoid the crowd mid transfer.

I was there tonight getting dinner on the 8th Floor and browsed the electric section on the lower floor; they seem to have an impressive selection of electronics stuff.
If you’re in Japan for awhile, perhaps order a charger…
