Greece adds ramps and accessible facilities at more beaches
Greece is expanding accessibility at its beaches with new access ramps, wheelchair-friendly pathways, and accessible restrooms as part of a broader inclusive tourism push. The move builds on Greece’s existing reputation for accessible coastlines — it already has one of the larger networks of accessible beaches in Europe through programs like…
Carnival's Celebration Key just got sensory-inclusive certified
Carnival’s new private destination in Grand Bahama, Celebration Key, just earned KultureCity Sensory Inclusive certification. They timed the announcement to World Autism Acceptance Month. In practice that means sensory bags you can borrow, quiet spots scattered around the island, and somewhere north of 400 staff trained to help guests with…

Fushima inari
Hi there
Im heading to Japan with my sister in May and would love to take her to the Fushima Inari Tori gates. I know that not all of the Tori gates are accessible so we would only see a few. Where my confusion is, Accessible Japan advises that
a. There is an elevator that will take you to the start of the gates
b. Get there early before 9am…

The elevator at Fushimi Inari Shrine is available until 4 PM. You must use the elevator to reach the torii gates. You can pass through the main torii gate, so you can enjoy the experience without having to see all of them.

Tak
Thank you
we wanted to go early in the morning at 7am so that there are less people
if the only way is with the elevator we will have to go later

I…

It is seeming like I should just not even try to bring the power assist part so that my chair will not have a battery at all. These airports all seem to make everything difficult when there is a battery involved. It would…
