The general rules from JR are:
Handle-operated electric wheelchairs (ie scooters) that can use this service (the shinkansen):
- Wheelchairs that are approximately 120 cm in height and 70 cm in width.
- On traincars with a deck, the multi-purpose room will be used, so as well as the conditions above, the wheelchair will have to be able to turn at…
I’m always hesitant of “the most … in the world” articles, but Air New Zealand seems to doing a great job. But maybe the “most disability friendly” is less a compliment of doing things as they should be, but how awful the others are… 😜

Hi, we can rent a hoist in Tokyo 23 Wards. Depending on the situation, we may deliver one to hotels outside of Tokyo.
