New emergency system aims to help make beaches accessible to deaf visitors
The Los Angeles County Department of Beaches and Harbors unveiled the Beach Emergency Evacuation Lights System, or BEELS, on Friday.
Accessible beach near(ish) Tokyo
Kamakura is about an hour from Tokyo and is one of the main centers for surfers in the Tokyo area.
Yuigahama Beach opens up restaurants and bars on the beach in July and August every year and have started to make the facilities accessible as well.
