About
Personal Pronouns | She/her |
Disability | I’m 28 and was recently diagnosed with MS. I’ve been reliant on my wheelchair for outdoor middle to long distance mobility since I got sick but I’m hoping this might improve. |
Mobility Device | I use a manual wheelchair for convenience sometimes, and other times a shoprider scooter. |
About me | I am a 28 year old Irish physiotherapist living in Vancouver, Canada with my girlfriend Molly and our friend Emma. I’ve always loved to travel and I don’t think my wheelchair dependence is going to get in the way of that, especially not when I have so many resources from this group! Over the next 2 years or so, I would love to see the Northern Lights on an Alaskan Cruise, travel more of Canada, see the best of California and Washington State, and plan a bigger trip in Latin America. I think this group is going to be a great help! I’m really glad I found it, thanks to @GeordieTravels on Facebook. |
Current Location | Vancouver, Canada. |
Places Visited | Being from Ireland, my earlier travel brought me to places like England, Scotland, Wales, Spain, Portugal, France, and Germany. In college, I travelled further afield to Thailand and Vietnam one summer, and the next summer to Central America. I visited Costa Rice, El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Mexico, and Belize, with G Adventures. This was the trip of a lifetime and I made the most amazing memories as well as made friends for life. Since graduating, I’ve visited Malta, Greece, and Australia, and I’ve recently moved to Vancouver, Canada. |
