So pleased with this group. As a person with an ‘invisible’ disability, it can be so hard to explain to people especially as I am only 26 and people think that young people can’t have disabilities or be disabled without an ‘obvious’ sign. It’s sad that we need to have a community forum and groups like these to be able to advocate for people…

Excellent! So pleased that this group has been created. We humans are very adaptable and often don’t look at our disabilities as being a hindrance… until those we are interacting with make life sooooo much more difficult than it needs to be.

That is why I joined as well. I’m a wheelchair user but I want to learn how to help people with other disabilities. Just because you have A disability doesn’t make you a pro on ALL disabilities!
