When we travelled in the US with my Swiss disability parking card we also put a “statment that we are from out of state” onto the dashboard and never faced a problem. Maybe you could do the same in Spain.

I just returned from a trip to Spain. I was pleasantly surprised by seeing the availability of ramps and disabled parking spaces.
Even though we were just visiting, I brought my US issued disabled parking placard but I was very hesitant to use it and have our rental car towed or get a fine.

Have you tried asking an accessible travel local agency? I know Mirijam of Disabled Accessible Travel, they are local and very good. They should have day trips too, and all that’s needed to get you there and back and have a great day out. I don’t know about prices, but that you can ask and if it’s above your budget, of course you can refuse.…
