Which of these middle east countries would you choose?
Hi guys! I would like your opinion/experience: let’s say you are an electric wheelchair user (from those who can’t use a regular car), which of the following destinations you choose and why?
-Lebanon
-Jordan
-Egypt
-Oman
-Tunisia
Probably the most important important information for me would be about accessible transport.

Hi from Montréal, I did not visit those country but I did a bit of research about some of them in the past. From your list, Egypt and Tunisia are the most developped regarding the tourism industry. They are used to receiving customers in wheelchair. I would probably choose Tunisia but Jordan as always attracted me…

As for transport, I basically need an accessible way to move around. Ideally not super expensive 😉

Didn’t find anything in Tunisia (though might be good to try in French) but when asking around, someone suggested London Cab Egypt in Egypt:

They said the design can accept a wheelchair user and the FAQ backs this up, but it may just be referring to a hospital like wheelchair. I’d suggest getting in touch and telling them about your wheelchair size/weight before booking.
Also, the person who told me about them said it was a bit expensive to use for touring since it is a taxi company…
Yes, indeed. I am thinking now to go to something (theoretically) easier, like Morocco or Dubai, but will keep on looking for and collecting information about these countries mentioned in the topic’s title here, so I could go next! So thank you for your reply and for the information!
