Hello. I understand it is quite a walk from the train platforms to the station exits. I use a cane and can only walk short distances and am wondering if the train stations offer wheelchair assistance to and from the platforms. Thank you.

    Hello Ed671,
Just to clarify, are you bringing your own wheelchair or are you asking if stations provide one?

I am pretty sure every station has a wheelchair since they need to be prepared for a variety of situations (ie an elderly person fell, someone got heatstroke, etc).

But I would be sure to arrive with plenty of time as they might need to go fetch it from somewhere.

You may also consider renting a wheelchair for the time you are here.

We’re in a similar situation- can’t walk far without a cane- and we’ve mostly ended up taking taxis for this reason.
