I’m going to visit a resort in Yamanashi, Hokuto – near JR Kobuchizawa Station and I’m looking for a wheelchair taxi service around that area.
Does anyone know any taxi service for a power electric wheelchair?
Thank you always everyone for the great help and advices.

    Edit:
I just learned that the hotel has a shuttle bus service and due to multiple conditions I believe it will be easier using a foldable wheelchair this time. If you are going to more rural or natural areas be sure the route is barrier-free!

I know this doesnt help, but we didnt use any taxi service, we did use the trains and walked/wheeled the rest of the way. If you use the trains, I would go 15 min in advance so they can set up your destination end to end. FYI, they call it a slope not a ramp

Thank you Susan for posting and adding extra information to tabifolk!
I’m familiar with trains and the transportation system, so no challenges in that point.

The situation in Yamanashi is a bit different. The route from station to hotel could be a little tricky with the lack of sidewalks, possible snow and sometimes is very hilly, specially in that area.
(I already broke the motor of one of my old wheelchairs in Izu – so I’m being cautious)
    Thanks again for posting.
