Wheelchair available at Tourist office in Kyoto station
For those in the un-planned need of a wheelchair:
In Kyoto we found that at the Tourist Information office at Kyoto Station, manual wheelchairs were available for free (against a deposit of 5000 JPY) on first come first serve basis. Coming in at 8:40 secured us a wheelchair 4 days in a row.
