Using a Hoist/patient lift in hotels
Hi, My family and I are going to Japan In May 2025. I’m wondering if anyone has any experience using a patient lift in a hotel in Tokyo or nearby areas. please recommend hotels you’ve stayed at also if anyone knows where to rent a patient lift that would be great.

Perhaps @ohayotravel can give some suggestions for hotels where you can use a hoist. They do hoist rentals as well 👍

We, husband and I, are going to Tokyo in October. Booked an accessible hotelroom hoping for space underneath the bed. Our general experiences in hotels with accessible rooms where we have stayed worldwide are disappointing. But we survived with pushing and pulling.
