Back in the United States after a two week trip to London and Tokyo and wanted to take the opportunity to share of our experience with Kuniyasu Nomura and Ohayo Travel. For most of our planning period we had intended to create our itinerary ourselves as this is how we typically travel. However with approximately one month until departure we decided it would be best to have assistance in Tokyo given our lack of experience in Japan and with the language. Ohayo Travel jumped in and put together a great set of experiences with personable, knowledgeable, and helpful guides and drivers who were enjoyable to share our experiences and who were adaptable to needs and interests we have. Ohayo was prompt in communication and spent time understanding our interests. We will highly recommend them to others and intend to use them again in what we hope will be future travels in Japan beyond Tokyo.

Excellent service from Kuniyasu. We used him for a 3 week holiday based in Tokyo- Asakusa, Kyoto and Kumamoto. I’m disabled and a powered wheelchair was provided. We had to request an additional battery for it, as we were exploiting so much.
Ohayo Travel booked our hotels, and set out a comprehensive itinerary. Our brief was to travel as many places as possible by interesting trains, using the Shinkansen for distant travel from our bases. Ticket reservations were made for trains . Guides in each location were used in for 1 day in each location,.
At stations we showed our JR passes and reservations and were guided to the right location on the platform and ramps provided. The same at our destination stations.
Where private cars were required that could take a wheelchair IE to get up to Mt Aso from the Asoboy train, these were organised.
It was my first visit to Japan, subject to my health, we would like to return in 2026 or 2027. We will use Kuniyasu Nomura, of Ohayo Travel again.
It wouldn’t have been such a fabulous holiday without their attention to detail.
