Need electric mobility scooter for my dad.

    Thank you for the information. But I do have one more idea.
    Most of these rules are for riding the scooter onto the train.
    And although my dad tires quickly when walking, hence the scooter idea…
    He would be able to get up and walk onto the train.
    Would it be acceptable to simply let him walk onto the train, and then fold the scooter to store it in the before mentioned “multipurpose room” ?

    We bought the Transformer 2. it has a lithium battery that you can easily take off and carry on. it folds up the size of a suitcase. It has a 300 lb max. which means the battery doesnt last as long as it could. Extra battery is around $600 to $700. We turned it off when waiting or at a restaurant. I reccommend it. Be sure to print out all the paperwork. Download all these documents if you get it. The picture where they show it folding saved us for the Shinkansen. The battery specs worked for the plane. It costs about $2770. We did the 12 month same as cash. it was $208 a month.
