Being in manual wheelchair, what’s the best way to go no Nabana no Sato?

Are there already non step bus?

If train, I understand nearest station is Kintentsu Nagashima station, still 30mins aways.

    Hi!

I went there aaaaaages ago and am pretty sure I used the bus because I remember waiting in the bus stop afterwards. So, I think it should be fine.

The closest station using a regular bus is likely Kuwana Station. The bus line said they are prioritizing accessibility but they also had a number to call to confirm about stations (likely because some stops on narrow streets may not have enough room for the ramp.

Monday is a holiday, but I’ll call on Tuesday to confirm.

    I called the bus companies.

The bus from Meitetsu Bus Center is a highway bus so you must fold your wheelchair and climb the steps. I’m not sure if that is possible for you though.

I called Mie Kotsu which runs the buses from Nagashima and Kuwana stations and the staff said that they were non-step buses. So, that would likely be the best option so you can stay in your wheelchair.

But, be careful because the buses don’t run very often…
