Hotels With Motorized Medical Beds In Japan
Hotels With Motorized Medical Beds In Japan
While the number of hotels in Japan that have wheelchair accessible rooms is increasing, and the the level of accessibility in hotel rooms is improving, it is very hard to find hotel rooms with motorized medical beds in Japan.
Motorized medical beds (like the one in the attached picture) can help with transfers, prevent pressure sores, and provide pain relief for many people with disabilities. Â Unfortunately they are also expensive and seen as unnecessary by many hotels.
We have nearly 200 hotels listed on our website, but at the moment only 5 have motorized medical beds. The only options are:
- Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo
- ANA InterContinental Tokyo
- Hotel Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku
- The Strings by InterContinental, Tokyo
- Imperial Hotel Tokyo
Unfortunately, like the beds, these hotels are out of the budget range of many travelers.
If you find a hotel with a motorized medical bed, please let us know so we can add it to our database!
