    Hello –

My husband, myself and 2 children will be traveling to Tokyo and Kyoto. My husband plans to rent a motorized wheelchair due to easy fatigue and walking difficulties. He doesn’t need a wheelchair once in the hotel so we do not need an accessible room. We would like a reasonably priced hotel that has a fairly accessible way to the train station to help us reach the touristy spots.

Does Hundred Stay in Tokyo and 22 Pieces in Kyoto fit that criteria?

Also will take recommendations as well.

    Thanks,

    Linda

    Hi Linda,
    Hundred Stay in Tokyo

It is a walking distance to Shin-Okubo which is a famous Korean Town in Tokyo. It is not a high brand area but is an interesting district for tourists. As the buildings are generally not build quite recently, I assume a lot of the shops and restaurants are not accessible.

    22 Pieces in Kyoto:
It is close to Kyoto Station in which you have a lot of shops and restaurants.

Toji Temple, one of the World Heritage Sites of Kyoto is walking distance. It is also a good train connection to Fushimi Inari Shrine where you have hundreds of torii gates.
