Hello,
I am planning to travel to Japan in October of this year to the cities of Tokyo, Osaka, and Okinawa Island. For this trip, I need a hoist because i’m in wheelchair. Do you know if it is possible to rent one in each place? I have already booked the hotels. this would be less restrictive than having to bring my own and having to carry it everywhere (metro, train, plane, etc.) in addition of our luggage. i already contacted ohayo travel by mail, few month ago for find hotel, and for informations about hoist rental, but I haven’t had a response for several weeks. i just need now to know if it’s possible to make rental for each areas.

I am sorry for the lack of follow up communication on your hoist request. We are able to deliver our hoist in Tokyo 23 Wards. We do not allow the rental hoist to be moved by the client from one location to other locations. We may deliver our hoist in Osaka and Kyoto, but for the rest of Japan, we currently have no delivery capacity. Sorry about that.
I couldn’t find rental hoist at Hotel.But below website mention hotel have hoist.It may limited place, but I hope it may help you.

A welfare equipment rental shop chain we recently communicated with said hoist rental is available in Okinawa as well.
