Posted by AsiaMarketMakers on April 6, 2023 at 1:50 pmI was wondering if anyone knows of a disability or nursing service that can help take you shopping or sightseeing?

Specifically, what medical skills are needed? Many Japanese guides are retired. Would a retired nurse work, for example?
So, not so much transportation, but a person to accompany you to help with translation, sight seeing etc but also can help with disability related stuff if needed?
Most accessible taxi drivers have at least some training as attendants, but it would be very expensive to book them for an entire day…
I speak fluent Japanese so that’s not an issue. It’s more if I had a fall.
This company could potentially help you too since the wife was a nurse. They just joined Tabifolk as @oshidori
Thanks SO much!
I used a few different ones and both were good.
