Disability certificate
Hello peeps,
Any ideas how to about getting a disability certificate? I’m in Scotland, I can carry my disabled parking badge or even a letter. Do I need to Book all my trains in advance. I can walk a little but will be using a chair.
Meaning I won’t really needs ramps etc, I can do steps and my best friend will be able to push and lift the chair at times.
Do I always have to reserve a disabled seatI

Disability certificates are really only useful for tourist sites, not the train.
For a local train, no reservations are needed, you can just show up and ask for assistance.
For the Shinkansen or other reserved seating trains, you will need to book in advance. Having a translation of your disability letter can help, but not necessary.
