Hello 👋🏼 Are capsule hotels in Japan wheelchair accessible? I would like very much to try this experience. Is there any information available?

    Thank you 🙏🏼

    Good evening.

Let me confirm your condition. Are you able to stand for a short time? Also, have you seen pictures of Japanese capsule hotels? Even people who are used to using Japanese capsule hotels have some difficulty getting in and out. Also, due to their characteristics, they will require quick movement in the event of a disaster. If you are in good enough physical condition to clear those conditions, I think you will be fine.

    Regards.

Not gonna lie, if there were proper accessible capsule hotels available in Japan, I would definitely make a lot more effort to travel there more often.

It is a lovely cost effective alternative for wheelchair users who cannot always afford high end style hotels just because the bathroom has a toilet with a handrail.

A capsule hotel would need a level bed, a communal bathroom with a wheelchair accessible toilet and shower ( basically larger, flat and with a seat).

    Hi

My image is difficult to use, but I find one capsule hotel.

    Is it good for you?
