Accessible transportation from NRT airport to downtown Tokyo
I’m looking at flights to Tokyo and they are much cheaper to NRT. However I know it’s much further than the other airport. Wondering what accessible transportation options there are? It’ll be myself and my husband traveling and we both use power wheelchairs. My attendant will come too. I believe there are bullet train options but not sure that is feasible with all our luggage. (There’s only so much we can put in our chairs and that my attendant can carry!) If they had people to help us then we could do that but not sure that’s offered. Alternately any suggestions on if there are easy ways to get from NRT to downtown?

We hired services from TokudAw, Inc. Their Japan Private Drivers loaded our power chair and luggage into luxury vans. They were wonderful. We didn’t worry about train tickets from/to airports.

There are various options to get into Tokyo from Narita including Narita Express and Skyliner, as well as regular trains. In terms of space, you can fit and the airport staff may help you to the train entrance, however you will likely not be able to go directly to your hotel on one of those trains and would need to transfer, being quite a hassle with luggage. (If your hotel IS directly on one of the direct train lines, then that is easiest/cheapest.)
There are some accessible taxis that can do it, but it does cost a bit since it is about an hour long ride.
