Accessibility in Osaka
Accessibility in Osaka
Hello. Could anyone advise on accessibility in Osaka? My son will be in a manual chair and we are hoping to walk around the Dotonburi area, visit Osaka castle and maybe go to the the big ferris wheel if that is accessible. He can transfer but can only walk a few small steps – no stairs.

Is the ferris wheel you are talking about the one in Dotonbori? If so, it is unfortunately not accessible.
In general though, like Tokyo, Osaka has accessible trains and buses etc and is pretty accessible!
