My family and I (including an adult wheelchair user and a senior with minor balance issues) are planning a trip to Tokyo for October of next year.
We’re thinking of being based in either Asakusa or close to Tokyo station and using an aparthotel rather than a hotel.

For this you wouldn’t need a license, but travel insurance is always good to have.

Hello, thank you for your reply. This is the type of our mobility scooter. Maybe it’s enough have a travel insurance for Japan? As said: here it’s regarded as a slow vehicle and therefore you need to be insured in case you cause damage to someone else.

To get in the bus, you’ll need to climb at least 5 steps, is that doable for you?
